These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of asakebeauty (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

asakebeauty is a UK-based online directory that helps people find afro textured hair salons and helps salon owners list their businesses. We provide the platform; we do not provide hairdressing services ourselves.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Reviews and user content

When you post reviews, ratings or other content, you confirm that it is your own genuine experience and opinion, is accurate, and does not infringe anyone's rights. You must not post content that is false, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, unlawful, or spam. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you post but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it as part of operating the Service.

4. Salon listings

Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including services, prices and opening hours. Listings may be reviewed before publication and may be removed if they are inaccurate, misleading or in breach of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• scrape, copy or republish content without permission;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts;
• post spam, malware or content that disrupts the Service;
• impersonate any person or business.

6. Directory information

Salon information is provided for general guidance only. While we aim to keep listings accurate, we do not guarantee the quality, availability or safety of any salon or service. Any dealings you have with a salon are strictly between you and that salon.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, logos and software, is owned by asakebeauty and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without our prior written permission.

8. Third-party links and advertising

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and may display third-party advertising. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for more information.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
